Romance Takes On A Festive Air At These Parisian Hotels

As a destination, Paris is always a good idea for a romance. Ahhh. Romance. That elixir we all deserve now and again and Paris is the place for it.

This city has seen dozens of new hotel openings in recent years. Many of the older hotels that were formerly 3-stars have now been bought out by new blood and refashioned into 4-star and 5-star Luxury properties. The Villa Madame is one such luxury property that offers the enticement of an experience. Two more romantically-themed hotels that you’ll find here on this list are Hotel de JoBo (JoBo standing for Josephine Bonaparte, the woman who symbolizes French romance) and Le Roch Hotel & Spa. Each property offers a cocoon-like experience and deliver on your expections when you book a hotel getaway.

For a to-the-manor-born feel, there is no topping Hotel Particulier Montmatre’s complete package. The sumptuous rooms designed with an homage to a true aristocrat’s shabby-chic flair, the on-premise restaurant, the bar that is just downstairs and adjacent to the garden, the interior courtyard garden and the super-secret entryway, a haven unto itself that has been designed for exclusive enjoyment.

For Left Bank chic, stay in the famous Palace hotel just near the Ecole des Beaux Arts where Oscar Wilde spent his last days. The restaurant here, Le Restaurant, has earned its Michelin star and the bar, in which still hangs pictures of former regular clients such as Johnny Depp and Mick Jagger, gives you that not-so-subtle reminder of ‘only in Paris.’

Other highlights here include the Indigo Hotel Opera, tucked away in a little pedestrian cul-de-sac just a twirl away from the Opera de Paris or there’s Les Plumes Hotel which pays homage to famous literary couples of centuries past  and then of course there’s the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Paris whose bridal suite is one of the world’s best.
